Negotiation: Basics

Life is a series of negotiations between individuals and entities, big and small, successful and unsuccessful. This module will introduce the value of negotiation, it’s presence in the world of IR, and how to apply best practices in a MUN setting.

Negotiation: Advanced

This module on advanced negotiations will explore the high level theories behind negotiation tactics, how they unfold in the real world, and simulate them in real time.

Writing: Basics

In this introductory module, you will learn how to improve the organization and clarity of your writing. You will also gain an overview of the writing process, with a focus on initial brainstorming and outlining techniques.

Writing: Intermediate

In this module, you will learn how to write an effective thesis and use evidence. With these two building blocks, you will be ready to tackle the next step in the writing process, creating an outline and writing a first draft.

Writing: Advanced

In this module, you will learn how to use different rhetorical modes in your writing. You will also learn what an effective voice in academic writing looks like. Finally, you will learn strategies for revising and editing.

Current Events: Globalization and Finance

The world of today is more interconnected and interdependent than ever before in human history. This module will introduce you to the underpinnings of globalization and international finance as well as how these phenomena affect the nations involved
